This module was about understanding relationship between cell/tissue behaviour and protein activity. Furthermore, an appreciation of the range of proteins necessary for cellular processes was developed. the principles of control of protein function were also highlighted. The overall process of gene expression, (including protein biosynthesis and secretion) was also covered.
